The performance will include routines such as water ballet and performer stacking, the presentation said.
Commissioners reviewed safety measures and the planned performance footprint: the arena was described as stretching roughly 500 feet from the beach inward, with an additional 200-foot buffer zone to be blocked off for safety. Beach landing procedures were clarified to allow skiers to step directly onto the beach to facilitate smooth transitions. The closure zone will be near the marina, where the fire boat is stationed, to prevent interfering water traffic. The minutes state that the lake advisory board and the command manager agreed to the proposed restrictions.
The commission also required that kayak rentals and other non-motorized watercraft be restricted during the show, with non-motorized rentals allowed to resume after the event. Officials collected official boat names and coordination links from the performing team to track arrivals and ensure the team would not remain on the water beyond scheduled times.
Commissioner Scott Doster moved to approve the request; Commissioner Jim Proctor seconded, and the minutes record that "all were in favor." The minutes list attendees (Mayor Carol C.
