Karen Nations, who said her family has lived in Overland Park since 1961, used public comment time to press the council about the 103rd and Antioch corner she called an 'eyesore' and an 'embarrassment.'
"We don't need more apartments. We don't need more multi use things," Nations said, urging the city to do something to get the corner cleaned up. Her remarks were personal observations and a plea for local action; the council took no immediate policy action during the public comment period.
