DPW Director Meghan Theriault reported maintenance work is underway across Gilford's cemeteries, with staff and contractors Dan and Ryan mowing, weed‑whacking, filling low areas and seeding. Meghan said staff will resume stone-cleaning when feasible and will address the historic side of Pine Grove first.
Meghan also said a tree at McCoy requires a company with reach beyond current staff capabilities and will need an outside tree company to address it. Trustees noted that Chris Theriault and Dan Hewitt had righted a knocked-over stone and commented that the historic cemeteries looked good during the trustees' annual walk-about.
