Hope Select Board approves warrants, assessor actions and supplemental tax

The Hope Select Board on Feb. 24 approved routine fiscal and procedural items, including Treasurer and Payroll Warrants #76, #77 and #78.
Chair Sarah Ann Smith moved to approve the listed warrants; Wayne Luce seconded and the motion passed, recorded as 3-0 in favor. The board also suspended its role as Select Board to convene as the Board of Assessors, approved and committed a supplemental tax of $93.73 for Jean & Robert Poole (map 03 lot 052), and then reconvened as the Select Board. Those assessor motions were moved by Sarah Ann Smith, seconded by Wayne Luce, and passed 3-0.
The board approved a Certificate of Settlement confirming that all FY2024 real estate taxes were paid by Feb. 19, 2025, and that there were zero foreclosures for that year. The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn at 6:52 p.m., which passed 3-0.
