Planning Commission approves minutes and consent agenda; staff previews UDO update schedule

The Planning Commission began by approving the March 9 and April 13 meeting minutes with a small correction to the March minutes, and then passed the consent agenda by voice vote. Several agenda items were also continued at the start of the meeting to later hearings as noted on the record.
Planning staff provided a brief update about the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) update project, saying the ordinance review committee is expected to meet monthly starting in June and that an online community survey had drawn roughly 130–150 responses before it closed later that week. "We do anticipate that it's likely for the ordinance review committee to be meeting monthly, starting in June, likely through the rest of this calendar year," staff told commissioners.
The chair then recessed the commission for a short break and reconvened to continue the regular agenda.
