Chair (speaker 1) said the additional budget detail provided in the agenda packet answered much of the committee’s questions but that staff should “dig deeper into the budget to ensure full compliance with the agreement, as well as evaluate best practices.” Member (speaker 3) moved to recommend approval; the motion was seconded and the committee voted unanimously to forward the budget to the council for final action.
The committee did not request additional conditions with the recommendation, but the chair noted outstanding questions that staff will follow up on before the matter reaches the full council.
