Cities report retail openings, ordinances and local projects as consortium hears transit and road updates

Other updates included a planned opening of the Nelson Williams Congress Center in October–November, which one mayor said will increase short local STAR trips, and Heath's report of more than 62 road repair projects this budget cycle and a new water well expected to yield over 1,000,000 gallons a day. Speakers framed these developments as both opportunities and reasons to coordinate transportation and infrastructure planning with Star Transit and county projects.
