Several residents used the public-comment period to press school and town officials for more detail on community integration and operations. MaryAnne Kelly asked whether the school had plans to incorporate Shirly Lane’s outline; Dennis Devore asked how the school will engage with the community and how children are adjusting to having fewer teachers. Principal David Friedlander invited community input and said "The invitation is there to have the community’s input. The children seem to be adjusting well."
Deb McKay described a form for using town property for the 1890s festival and explained how residents can find and subscribe to the school's event calendar so residents will be notified when events are added or changed. Alison Scott suggested the town calendar be shared with the school to improve coordination.
