City announces fall events: parade, National Night Out, tire recycling and Halloween bash

Looking ahead, Mayor Ray said National Night Out is set for Oct. 7 at Brazos Town Center from 6 to 9 p.m., hosted by the Rosenberg Police Department and joined by city departments and community partners. The mayor also announced a tire recycling event scheduled for Oct. 10 in the downtown parking lot at 2221 Avenue F (free and open to the public for city residents; show ID); and the Boogeyman Bash on Oct. 31 in downtown Rosenberg at 2100 Avenue G, featuring a children's costume contest and trunk‑or‑treating. Finally, the mayor reminded council of the annual mayor–council dinner at the Fort Bend County Fair building with a social at 6:30 p.m. and a program at 7 p.m.
