Seward County's health department presented KDHE grant awards to the commission July 20 and requested authorization for the health director to sign grant documents. Staff told commissioners the awards were consistent with prior approvals and requested routine acceptance.
The health director said Universal Home Visiting was approved for $57,000. "When I get the notice of grant award I can bring it back, or if you want to approve that as well tonight, it'd be just another housekeeping item," the director said. Commissioners moved and approved allowing the health department director to sign KDHE documents and accept the universal home visiting grant; the motion passed unanimously.
