Council approves general services agreement with RW Moore Engineering

The Clarksville Town Council approved a general services agreement with RW Moore Engineering after staff outlined the firm's recent work in the town. Council President introduced the item, saying staff were satisfied with Moore's work, including engineering design for South Clark Boulevard and project engineering on four new street blocks in the redevelopment area. "Staff are pleased with the services provided by RW Moore and believe it is in the best interest of the town to enter into a general services agreement," the president said.
Under the agreement, the town will have an agreed fee structure and a basis for project-specific estimates and costs when services are required. Council members moved and seconded the measure and voted to approve it during the consent/agenda action. The approval establishes a preauthorized basis for contracting Moore when the town needs engineering oversight for redevelopment projects.
