Stafford Center sees record turnout; Blum previews July 3–4 schedule and fall bookings

Brian Blum, president of FM Squared and Stafford Center operations lead, told the board the center’s recent events exceeded expectations and credited staff and volunteers for execution. "Both events were wildly successful. This was by far a record," he said, describing packed crowds and heavy community participation during Juneteenth and the Asian Pacific Islander event.
Blum previewed the July 3 outdoor festival and July 4 symphony and fireworks tied to the U.S. 250th anniversary and listed upcoming bookings: a 323rd Army Band performance, Eagles tribute bands, a David Lee Garza headline for Hispanic Heritage events, an ABBA tribute, Leonette & Friends (noted as already sold out), and the Grand Kiev Ballet in November. He also told the board that light pole installation at the venue will begin in the next few weeks and staff have been conducting parking-lot survey work to support infrastructure improvements.
