Avon council unanimously approves 3% raise for Town Manager to $190,542

Following an executive session on personnel, the council took formal action on the Town Manager's compensation. On a motion made by Mrs. Barthel and seconded by Mr. Weber the council voted: "RESOLVED: That the Town Council approves a 3.00% general wage increase to the Town Manager’s regular salary for FY 25/26 to bring it to $190,542." Mmes. Ausiello, Barthel, Bratton and Messrs. Polhamus and Weber voted in favor.
Council members had earlier expressed appreciation for the Town Manager’s work during the budget process. The action was taken in open session immediately after the council returned from executive session. The Town Manager will continue to work with council and staff on potential adjustments to the FY 25/26 budget before final adoption.
