Park City Council approved a resolution authorizing construction and related work at the 85th & Broadway intersection with an estimated total project cost of $2,040,583.
Staff explained that charter ordinance authority and the city's multiyear capital improvement plan allow the city to issue temporary notes or bonds to finance such projects. The project has an 80/20 cost-share with WAMPO; staff noted the city must authorize the total amount by resolution even though it expects WAMPO to cover approximately 80 percent.
Councilmember Jim Schrader moved to approve Resolution 1289 authorizing and providing for payment of certain improvements included in the CIP; John Wells seconded and the council approved the motion. Staff said utility relocations are underway and the project will go to bid in September with construction expected in spring 2027.
