At the July 23 meeting the Chelmsford Board of Assessors approved a warrant for motor-vehicle excise tax abatements covering three fiscal years with a combined total of $27,548.85: FY2022 $20.14; FY2025 $1,284.53; FY2026 $26,244.18. The motion to approve the warrant was made by Gabriel Francisco, seconded by Chief Assessor Samuel P. Chase, and carried on a 2-0 vote.
The Board also voted to approve the July 23 regular session meeting minutes, again on a motion by G. Francisco and a second by S. Chase, recorded as approved 2-0. The minutes note signatures for the approved warrants and that administrative items and prior actions are included in the end-of-month reports.
