Directors annual review scheduled for Oct. 9; board to complete forms by Sept. 29

The board was reminded that the director's annual performance review will take place at the October meeting, scheduled for Oct. 9.
The library director (speaker S2) said, "At the October meeting, you guys will have to do my annual review. I have the form... saved on my computer, so I can email that out to you guys." She requested members return completed forms by Sept. 29 to allow a week to combine feedback and said she expects to meet with Margo the week before the meeting to review the compiled results. The director noted the earlier timeline helps the administration avoid end-of-year processing issues when reviews are delayed.
Board members discussed whether a newly appointed or absent member should complete the form; the director said all members will receive the form but some newer members may opt to fill only portions if they lack sufficient tenure to assess all items.
