Local substitute urges Cedar Hill ISD to create summer programs for 6th–7th graders

"I have been asking this question all year long about getting summer school for 6th and 7th graders," Johnson said, adding that her nonprofit — "Raising the Bar for after school tutorial and summer tutorial" — is available to help fill the gap. Johnson gave her address in Midlothian and asked trustees to "help me out with that," underscoring a community request for targeted middle-school summer supports.
