"This is Bailey, and she is our new 4 year old GSRP teacher," said a staff member introducing the early‑learners hire, and board members responded with repeated welcomes. Administrators provided short biographies for each hire: Bricker Barr was noted as a Northern Michigan graduate and a long‑time elementary educator; Fineout holds a bachelor's in fine arts and has experience in ceramics; Belitzky has worked as a board‑certified behavior analyst in multiple states since 2007.
Board members said they appreciate the district's strong hiring season and encouraged community members to greet staff at upcoming open houses. The introductions took place during the meeting's early minutes and were followed by presentations on assessment data and district operations.
