The Dell Rapids City Council set three free rubble-site dates — Saturday, Oct. 25; Thursday, Oct. 30; and Saturday, Nov. 1 — and approved a motion to proceed. A council member asked whether electronics would be accepted during those events; the administrator said staff would check with Public Works and include electronics pickup information in announcements if feasible.
“I've been asked if it's gonna have electronics with it this time,” a council member (S2) said, noting community interest in electronics recycling. Administrator (S3) said she would confirm with Public Works and report back, and the council authorized the administrator to arrange electronics pickup if the cost was reasonable.
