Councilman Peter J. "We had referred this appropriation a while back ... a couple of them were under general capital," Winzig said, explaining the change is a reallocation and not an increase to the city's overall capital budget.
Members discussed that the move allows the city to track projects independently within the capital improvements program and keep clearer accounting. Council indicated the ordinance had been reviewed in committee and was up for adoption that night. The council voted to adopt the reclassification; no change in the total appropriation was announced at the meeting.
