The Dell Rapids City Council approved Resolution 2025-8 on Oct. 6 to transfer a retail on-sale liquor license for Prohibition Pub to Gillette LLC for the remainder of 2025. Administrator (speaker S3) told the council that Gillette LLC provided required documentation and fees following a Sept. 29 sale of the premises.
“We have on September 29, Prohibition Pub was sold the premises to Gillette LLC,” Administrator (S3) said, adding that staff recommended approval of the transfer for the remainder of the year and would follow up with the new owner on the operating agreement and remaining requirements. The council approved the resolution by voice vote after re-calling the vote to ensure it was recorded.
