Board approves amended 2025–26 budget, adopts 2026–27 budget and authorizes initiation of a property sale
Summary

During the action items portion of the meeting, the board first voted to approve the amended 2025–26 budget as presented; the motion was moved by Trustee Haygood and seconded by Trustee Ross Bacon and passed on a voice vote. The board then moved to approve the 2026–27 budget and recorded a unanimous vote to adopt it.
Later the board considered and approved a resolution authorizing initiation of sale of real property at 1317 North Joe Wilson Road; Trustee Morgan moved the resolution and Trustee Singleton seconded it. The resolution passed unanimously. The board also approved a slate of new hires requiring board approval and adopted the consent agenda (items a–e) without any items pulled.
