Avon council adopts ordinance tightening illumination rules for pedestrian paths and multi-family housing

The change amends Sections 1264.07(f), 1264.08(e), and 1292.14(c) to clarify lighting standards for pedestrian access and adjacent open spaces. Council Member Jennifer Demaline moved to adopt the ordinance, which City Clerk records show passed with a 6-for, 0-against tally. Council President Brian Fischer declared the motion passed. The ordinance becomes part of the city's zoning rules to guide future development and site improvements affecting sidewalks and common areas.
