The Commission approved a one-year maintenance contract with Lumen for the city's 911 phone system covering Oct. 25, 2025 through Sept. 26, 2026 at a cost of $18,741.64.
City Manager Holly Phelps described the 911 platform as "critical infrastructure that needs to be kept up to date," noting the contract includes several systems in the city building and a remote desktop in Judith Basin County to provide redundancy. The motion to approve the contract was made by Commissioner Hrubes and seconded by Commissioner Robertson; the roll-call vote was unanimous.
