The Lewistown City Commission unanimously approved the 2025–2026 recreation agreement with School District No. 1 at its Oct. 20 meeting, maintaining a partnership that allows community access to school recreation facilities including the pool and pickleball courts.
City Manager Holly Phelps said the agreement was updated last year to broaden allowable uses and that the annual fee rises each year by the prior-year consumer price index. The agreement passed on a motion by Commissioner Hrubes and seconded by Commissioner Buehler.
