The board approved a contract with Ward Scott Morris Architects to serve as architect of record for the White Plains Haskell Field House design. Superintendent Willis said the firm had provided initial drawings and that sewer and drainage will make the project more complex.
"We've looked at some initial drawings with them. But definitely, it's gonna have to be some work for, sewage and drainage on that," Willis said. He recommended the firm as the architect of record, and the board moved and approved the contract by voice vote.
Staff will proceed with the design work and return to the board for approvals of specifications and pay applications as designs and bids are developed.
