Planning commission upholds sidewalk/driveway violation at 131 E. 205th, grants homeowner five months to comply

The City of Euclid Planning & Zoning Commission voted 5–0 to uphold a housing division notice of violation issued Sept. 30, 2025 for property at 131 East 205th Street but amended the enforcement timeline to give the homeowner additional time to make repairs.
Commissioner (speaker 5) moved to uphold the violation for parcel 642-02115 but grant the appellant five months — up to and including May 13, 2026 — to repair the sidewalk and driveway; the motion was seconded and approved by roll call (Monroe, Weymouth, Williams, Laird and Drake voted yes). Chair Howard Drake urged the homeowner and city staff to "get together as soon as possible" to reach a practical resolution without undue hardship.
