The Euclid Shade Tree Commission voted to approve a revised recruiting and onboarding packet intended to support recruitment for an open commissioner seat in early 2026. Commissioner Laura Lewis moved to approve the documents, and after a second the motion passed with members voting in favor.
The packet bundles a short “about” statement, legal responsibilities and structure, mayoral appointment information and onboarding notes, the chair said. "I've tried to... put our links in the sidebar," the chair said while showing mockups; Laura Lewis moved that the commission approve the materials with edits and forward them to Planning Director Grogan Myers for review. Commissioners asked for a short window to redline the Word/PDF and for staff to check web-template constraints before publishing.
