Auditors say they are coordinating collection of documents for external audit

The Chair of the Middletown Springs auditors said the board is coordinating collection of information needed for an external audit and has been meeting with staff to assign tasks. "I'm coordinating the collection of information for the external audit," the Chair said, noting meetings with Jenny and library staff Kimberly and Crystal to identify separate-account requirements and single-audit paperwork.
The Chair said some staff turned materials in quickly while others remain outstanding and that she would follow up directly. "I've asked people to get me stuff by the end of August," the Chair said. The auditors agreed they will reconvene with the full set of documents and the detailed network reports to complete year-end reconciliations and to support the external review.
