Planning commission votes: Phillips Estates, Regis gym and North Noble partition approved
Summary
At its July 27 meeting the commission adopted staff's draft order and approved the Phillips Estates master plan development application, approved a 10,239 sq ft practice gym at Regis High School, and approved a preliminary partition at 395 North Noble Avenue; remaining technical items (SDC credits, development agreement security, stormwater compliance) were left to city staff to resolve.
The Stayton Planning Commission took three final actions at its July 27 meeting:
• Phillips Estates Phase 3 (land use file 11‑07‑24): Commission approved the detailed master plan development application and adopted the staff draft order. Staff will coordinate SDC credits, final stormwater design and any development‑agreement security with public works and the city engineer. (Motion made and carried.)
• Regis Catholic High School (land use file 8‑05‑26): Commission approved a 10,239 sq ft auxiliary practice gym with conditions; applicant provided revised plans adding required ADA and bicycle parking. (Motion made and carried.)
• Preliminary partition at 395 North Noble Avenue (land use file 3‑03‑26): Commission approved the partition creating two parcels (approx. 9,351 sq ft and 9,345 sq ft) subject to right‑of‑way dedication, street improvements and standard conditions. (Motion made and carried.)
All three decisions were made by voice vote at the meeting; detailed conditions and technical follow‑up (SDC calculations, final engineering, permits) were left to city staff and public works.
