Outgoing treasurer Adam Zink honored; board appoints Randy Bertram as treasurer pro tem

The board acknowledged the service of outgoing Treasurer Adam Zink at the start of the meeting, presented him with gifts and several board members and administrators offered praise for his work. "We have a little something for you... we just wanted to thank you for all your years of service to the students of Lakota," the president said during a brief recognition.
Zink reflected on nearly 10 years with the district and said he would remain available to assist during the transition. Later, after a second executive session for personnel and bargaining, the board moved to approve Randy Bertram as treasurer pro tem in accordance with Ohio Revised Code procedures for temporary appointment. The roll call for that appointment was read and recorded as affirmative.
Board members repeated thanks to Zink for his service and welcomed Bertram to the pro tem role; the administration said Bertram will be involved in forecast submissions and transitional work during Zink's departure.
