The commission approved an emergency rehabilitation deferred loan of $5,250 for Marissa Hernandez to repair a plumbing issue and sidewalk collapse. Hernandez described the problem in her own words, saying the sidewalk had collapsed and that "the city is taking me to court saying it's my fault," and that she needs repairs completed before a June 25 court date.
Commissioners moved, seconded and approved the emergency loan on roll call (recorded as five yes). Staff noted the work will be done by a plumber and the loan will be processed under the emergency program guidelines.
