Council confirms BIDC, Historical Review Board appointments; approves cemetery deeds

At the July 14 meeting Councilwoman Betty Hart moved to appoint Kevin Smith to the Bardstown Industrial Development Corporation (BIDC) Board of Directors through June 30, 2029; Councilman David Dones seconded and the motion carried 5-0. Councilman Joe Buckman later moved to appoint Josh Blackmon to the Historical Review Board through June 30, 2029; Councilman Franklin Hibbs seconded and the motion carried 5-0.
The council also approved cemetery deeds for Howard & Janet Peay, Anita West and Karen Jenkins by unanimous consent. These actions were approved without recorded opposition in the minutes.
