Resident Mandy Jo Ingram said the city is relying too heavily on social media and that many residents would not learn about a May special election; she said she would be more inclined to support separate, better-explained measures. Multiple public commenters in the meeting urged additional print outreach to reach residents who are not active on social media; one resident volunteered to help insert flyers into water bills.
