ODOT to hold Jan. 28 meeting on Reading Road traffic‑calming plan; project estimated at $3 million

Mayor Robert “Bo” Bemmes told council that the Ohio Department of Transportation will host a public meeting on Jan. 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers to present proposed traffic‑calming plans for Reading Road. Bemmes said ODOT expects to spend approximately $3 million on the project and that the agency will provide a web page with details by Friday, Jan. 9; property owners along Reading Road will receive letters from ODOT.
Council members were invited to attend and residents were encouraged to bring questions, comments and concerns. Utilities, Lands & Buildings Chair Mark Bishop also specifically requested residents bring questions to the Jan. 28 meeting.
