Community development staff presented Ordinance 6‑30, a zoning map amendment request for approximately 49.7 acres southwest of Tremonton (near 7900 West and between 10000 North and 10400 North). The planning commission held a public hearing and recommended approval after the applicant requested that one acre be excluded from the rezoning.
Scott Lyons explained the planning commission’s recommendation and the re‑noticed hearing at the planning level. Commissioner Vincent moved to approve Ordinance 6‑30, Commissioner Perry seconded, and the commission approved the ordinance by voice vote. Staff said the change places the property into RR‑1 (one‑acre rural residential) zoning and the clerk will update the map records.
