Harrison swears in firefighter, promotes officer as summer events begin

Mayor Ryan Grubbs swore in Nicholas Hamm as a firefighter/paramedic for the Harrison Fire Department during the June 2 meeting of the Harrison City Council. The ceremony was part of a brief presentations section that also included a police promotion and community donations.
Grubbs also announced that the first summer concert would take place that evening and that the city's splash pad is open. Councilmember Ryan Samuels, who later recapped the Finance Committee meeting, offered congratulations to both Hamm and Officer Byron Wilbur on Wilbur's promotion to sergeant in the Harrison Police Department.
