At the Fair and Rodeo Board meeting on Jan. 21, host Kent Lynskey reported several maintenance items: a rodent infestation in the concessions walk‑in cooler that is being cleaned and fitted with new insulation; repair work on welded pipe panels; and removal of invasive Russian olive trees from the grounds.
The board also noted that the high school and junior high rodeo events are moving forward on the schedule presented. No safety issues were reported, and the board set its next meeting for Feb. 9, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the White Pine County Road Department.
