The Agricultural District reviewed a line‑item list of capital projects and major purchases during the Jan. 21 meeting. Items discussed included a suggested removal of a $50,000 sound system redo from the agenda, a $20,000 permanent stage recommended for design work, a $100,000 blue building roof item suggested for removal, $300,000 listed for fairground improvements, and a $40,000 south‑arena improvements line that was suggested for removal.
Member Pete Mangum reported he had quotes for metal siding and asked that the cost be shifted from Capital Improvements into Facility Repair & Maintenance so the siding could be completed in the current fiscal year; Workman said Mangum should provide the quotes to Maintenance Foreman Burdick.
