The council approved a tentative collective-bargaining agreement between the city and the Police Supervisors Association that runs through June 30, 2028, and includes a 3% increase to supervisors effective when the agreement expires. Controller Doohan presented the agreement and Councilman Constance moved to approve the tentative agreement, authorizing the mayor and clerk to sign the completed contract after agreed changes are incorporated.
Council members thanked police leadership and administration for reaching the agreement quickly; the mayor commended staff and specifically recognized Mehdi Beydoun (Mayor) and others for their roles in negotiations. The motion passed unanimously.
