Board preliminarily denies one applicant, tables two and approves three licensure requests

At its Sept. 4 meeting the Maine Board of Pharmacy preliminarily denied one applicant, tabled two applicants pending substance-use assessments, approved two initial pharmacist licenses and accepted one withdrawal. Motions recorded the license numbers and statutory bases for action.
The Maine Board of Pharmacy moved on multiple individual licensure matters during its Sept. 4, 2025 meeting. Timothy McCormack moved to preliminarily deny licensure to Dakota E. Goguen, license No. PT60018386, citing 32 M.R.S. § 13742-A(1)(A) and 10 M.R.S. § 8003-G(2)(B); the motion was seconded by Nicholas Haar and recorded as carried with Emmons and Kane in favor and other members absent.
The board tabled the renewal application of Amanda D. Casey (PT60017714) and the initial application of Brady P. McNally (PT60019839), referring both applicants to obtain substance‑use assessments. The board approved and issued licensure to Marina I. Galli (PT60019671) and Kaitlyn M. Hinckley (PT60019712). The board also accepted the application withdrawal of Laura M. Coyne (PT60018555). Motions were moved by McCormack or Haar and seconded as noted in the minutes.
