Sevier County Board approves agenda, October minutes and schedules next meeting

The Sevier County Board of Education voted unanimously to approve the meeting agenda and the minutes from its Oct. 6, 2025 regular meeting. Kevin Townsend moved to approve the agenda, seconded by Mark Strange; the board recorded a 5-0 vote. John McClure moved to approve the October minutes, seconded by Charles Ogle; that motion also passed 5-0.
Director Stephanie Huskey announced that the next regular meeting would be Monday, January 12, 2026. The minutes also list the T. Mack Sharpe Board Room as the meeting location. The record contains a clerical inconsistency: one line in the minutes lists the next meeting as Jan. 12, 2025; the director’s spoken announcement (SEG 006) specifies 2026.
