County Attorney Steve Hadfield presented a second opioid-related settlement—National Opioid settlement agreement number 25-73—for secondary manufacturers and asked the commission to approve it. "I'll make a motion that we approve the National Opioid settlement agreement number 25Dash73 for secondary manufacturers, presented by our attorney and allowing Commissioner Perry to sign that," Commissioner Vincent said.
The motion was seconded and the commission voted 'Aye'; the chair declared the motion carries. Hadfield noted the form needs signature and the authorization allows the county to complete the settlement paperwork without delay.
