Commissioners also raised a separate but related budget question about whether the published budget included two part‑time deputy positions and whether other lines could be used; staff said the budget includes a line for two part‑time deputies and part‑time funds must remain within that allocation.
The court did not change policy at the meeting; commissioners asked staff to research the credit‑card limits, the source of payment for the meal and the appropriate use of seized funds and to report back at the next meeting.
