Bond County Board approves minutes, bills and routine reports

Chairman Chris Timmermann opened the Bond County Board's May 6, 2025 meeting in Greenville at 7:00 p.m. The board voted unanimously to approve the minutes of its April 15 meeting, the bills listed on the edit reports dated April 17 and May 2, 2025, and the County Clerk's April 2025 report, each passing on roll-call votes of 5 ayes and 0 nays.
State's Attorney Dora Mann used the public‑comment portion of the meeting to thank students from Bond County Community Unit #2 for their work at the courthouse during the high school's "Give Back Day." The Board also reviewed routine departmental reports from the sheriff and coroner and approved both reports on separate motions, each carried by a 5-0 vote. The meeting recessed briefly for an executive session beginning at 7:15 p.m. and returned at 7:30 p.m., then adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
