Council announces downtown ribbon cutting and praises Water Department repair

During 'Other Business' Council Member Tom Stugmyer announced "there was going to be a quick ribbon cutting downtown that Friday at 11:00 at the Pocket Park" for a final wing mural made of matchsticks and a brief dedication. The announcement invited community members to attend the Friday event.
President Dan Rospert commended the Water Department for repairing a serious break at one of the wells within hours and refilling the tank. He also corrected an earlier remark about the date for Conversations With Council, saying the event will be held Thursday, February 26 in Council Chambers. The meeting adjourned at approximately 7:53 p.m.
