During the consent agenda the Commission approved a set of procurement awards and routine items supporting county youth services and public health. Commissioners awarded multi-vendor contracts for Girls Circle facilitator services (recommendations to Braycon Company LLC and Serena Ortiz) and a contract award for a Boys Council facilitator to Robert Chavez. County staff noted that contracts are subject to CYFD approval before services begin.
The board also ratified a Rural Primary Health grant with the New Mexico Department of Health (three-year program totaling $101,124) to support Mountainair Health Clinic primary-care services and diabetes prevention activities. A number of small emergency, unauthorized purchases (e.g., equipment repairs, tow services, radar inspection) were ratified after staff said the purchases were urgent; the Commission approved the ratifications following explanations from department staff.
