YUTAN, Neb. — After an informational presentation and a question-and-answer period on a proposed annexation and sales-tax proposal, Councilmember Smith moved to adjourn the special meeting at 7:59 p.m.; Councilmember Lawton seconded. The roll-call vote recorded Yea votes from Lawton, Schimenti and Smith and no votes against; the motion carried and the meeting adjourned.
The minutes list the next scheduled meetings: a Budget Hearing on July 21, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., followed by a regular City Council meeting the same day at 7:00 p.m. The minutes were signed by Mayor Matt Thompson and City Clerk/Treasurer Brandy Bolter.
