Henry County committee approves non-union wage policy and Director of Nursing pay increase
Summary
The Health and Social Services Committee approved a new non-union wage increase policy establishing annual increases effective Dec. 1 after performance reviews, and separately approved a salary increase for the Director of Nursing; both passed on roll-call votes.
The committee voted to adopt a non-union wage increase policy that Administrator Erin Knackstedt described as establishing annual increases for non-union employees at the start of each fiscal year (December 1) contingent on completion of an annual performance review. Member Bob Wachtel moved the policy and Member Jan May seconded; the motion carried by roll call.
The committee also approved a separate salary increase for the Director of Nursing after Member Kathy Nelson moved and Member Bob Wachtel seconded the motion. Administrator Knackstedt reviewed the Director of Nursing proposal during the item; the motion passed by roll call vote.
