Commissioners asked staff to refine project descriptions, estimate costs and prepare grant packages for prioritized projects.
On procurement for a proposed county shooting range, Manager Jason Burns described two procurement options (use on‑call general construction for the building portion or use a state contract). He reported a $2.3 million quote for the building and recommended on‑call procurement for site improvements and to seek multiple on‑call vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing. Commissioners signaled support for on‑call contracting and asked Burns to circulate procurement documentation to interested commissioners for technical review.
